I collaborated with Copper Pearl to develop a collection of original prints for new children’s products. The direction called for an elevated approach to children’s design, combining playful and nature inspired subject matter with organic artwork, modern simplicity, and versatile color palettes.
The process began with mood boards exploring a range of themes, visual references, and color directions. Once the overall direction was established, I developed hand drawn print concepts and presented each design in multiple colorways. The patterns were also applied to apparel CADs, allowing the team to evaluate scale, placement, and overall appearance before moving into production.
The selected prints were produced across several Copper Pearl product categories. Two of the designs were later expanded into additional colorways for coordinating women’s and girls’ products, allowing the artwork to extend into a broader family assortment.

Teton · Mountain Stripe
Teton reimagines the classic stripe as a continuous mountainscape inspired by the natural beauty of northeastern Utah.
The simplified peaks and organic linework bring a playful, modern character to the familiar stripe repeat.
Gemma · Retro Daisy Print
Gemma is a playful interpretation of 1970s floral prints, featuring oversized daisies in a bold, simplified layout. Each flower was hand painted to give the artwork a soft, organic texture, while scattered polka dots fill the negative space and add a whimsical finishing touch.
Lyle · Lagoon Print
Lyle features two digitally hand drawn crocodile motifs arranged in a half drop repeat to create a natural, seamless flow. Grass and cattail illustrations complete the lagoon landscape, giving the print a playful, scenic feel while bringing a fresh animal motif to boys' apparel.
