Custom Peacock Floral Pattern Illustration

The Peacock Floral pattern was developed for Chloé Kristyn’s Spring collection using key colors from the brand’s seasonal palette. The design features three distinctive peacock motifs perched among flowing branches, creating movement and a seamless visual rhythm throughout the repeat. Its palette coordinates with the Rainbow Watercolor Gingham and other prints in the collection, helping bring the broader Spring assortment together.

The repeat began with the branch structure, followed by rough peacock placements to establish scale, balance, and a continuous flow. Once the illustrated peacocks were positioned, soft painted florals were added to connect the motifs, fill transitions, and create a thoughtful balance between detail and negative space.

The finished print was applied across several silhouettes within the collection, allowing the artwork to take on a different character through each garment.

The design became a favorite of founder Bettina Benson and was later reimagined for an exclusive Chloé Kristyn style created for Tuckernuck.
